National Executive Council includes:

- Communication and Publicity Strategist
President
- Chief executive officer
- Official representative
- Facilitates decisions
- Presides over meetings
Deputy President
- Assists the president
- Develops initiatives
- Encourages growth
- Manages partnerships
Secretary General
- Maintains records
- Official correspondence
- Association spokesperson
Communication Strategist
- Manages communications
- Handles social media

Institution Membership:
- Open to registered higher learning institutions
- Must submit application with required documents
- Must comply with JSAK objectives
Individual Membership:
- Open to media students in Kenyan institutions
- Must submit application form and identification
